Job summary

Airbnb is seeking an Engineering Manager for Secure Development Engineering in the United States. You will lead a team focused on building security products for engineers, including secure development frameworks, secure-by-default infrastructure, and identity platforms.

You will report into InfoSec leadership and collaborate with infrastructure, product engineering, and compliance partners to drive adoption and measurable impact across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years leading a software engineering team in a fast-paced tech environment.
• 9+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in CS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for a portfolio of security products spanning secure SDLC, vulnerability management, infrastructure security, and platform identity, with real dependencies on partner orgs.
• Drive product thinking: who the user is, what adoption looks like, what gets deprecated.
• Find the next problem before it finds you. Spot gaps in the company's security posture, shape them into work the team can own, and bring the case to leadership.
