Job summary

Babel Street is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Secure Access team. The role focuses on balancing reliability of on-premises systems with delivery of new features, across infrastructure and application development.

As a hands-on leader, you will set technical direction, manage priorities, and mentor engineers across disciplines, ensuring secure, scalable deployments in both on-prem and cloud environments for diverse customers.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience overseeing software/platform engineers.
• Hands-on background in infrastructure and application engineering.
• Experience managing on-premises virtualized infrastructure (VMware).
• Cloud experience with GCP and containerized workloads.
• Strong Linux administration, containers, and CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Secure Access team through full lifecycle of the application.
• Set technical direction and priorities across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Mentor engineers across software and infrastructure disciplines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align product vision with delivery.
