Job summary

Jobot in Minnesota is seeking a high-growth engineering leader to direct a team of design drafting engineers and a CNC programmer. You will set priorities, coach staff, and ensure engineering decisions align with fabrication, assembly, and installation in our 300,000+ sq ft facility.

This role partners with design, project management, sourcing, and production to scale our custom fixtures, improve workflows, and advance CAD/PDM and ERP/MRP usage.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, drafting, design or related field, bachelor's preferred.
• At least three years leading or supervising a technical team.
• At least three years creating or overseeing engineering drawings for custom fixtures or fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and develop a team of design drafting engineers and a CNC programmer.
• Set clear responsibilities, priorities, and performance expectations for the team.
• Promote our values and coach for accountability and growth.
• Collaborate with shop and fulfillment to align engineering with fabrication and installation.
• Plan and prioritize engineering work based on project schedules and capacity.
