Job summary

Nuvo in the United States is hiring an Engineering Manager to build, lead, and grow a team of engineers who will shape Nuvo’s platform and products. You will own delivery, ensure quality, and partner with founders, product, and customer teams to bring bold ideas to life.

You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, help recruit top talent, and foster a culture of ownership, speed, and empathy while leveraging cutting-edge tech to scale to millions of users and businesses.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience and experience hiring/managing engineers.
• First principles‑oriented with focus on high-throughput, rigorous code.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality code under tight feedback loops.
• Experience guiding engineering in rapidly scaling environments.

Responsibilities

• Own technical product areas and delivery across onboarding product, platform, infra, AI, and new products.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to ensure high performance, well-being, and growth.
• Set technical direction for engineering initiatives as Nuvo scales to over 1M businesses on network.
• Help recruit technically gifted engineers and maintain a high talent density on the team.
• Bring to life new products that build on existing distribution.
• Collaborate with customers, go‑to‑market, and product teams.
• Set standards for velocity and code quality.
• Shape culture: ownership, speed, and empathy for team and users.
• Leverage cutting edge technologies to maximize throughput and explore new surfaces.
