Job summary

Affim is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead the Resilience Engineering team, ensuring safety and reliability of production systems through proactive validation techniques including production load testing and chaos engineering. You will champion safe production experimentation and mentor engineers building platforms and tooling.

Key responsibilities include owning resilient testing platforms, embedding validation into the SDLC, and driving reliability improvements via load testing

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with production load testing, chaos engineering, or large-scale system validation.
• Experience with distributed systems and failure modes.
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes) and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead resilience engineering team focused on production load testing and chaos experiments.
• Own design and evolution of safe production testing platforms with guardrails.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, product, and security to embed resilience validation in SDLC.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response for resilience activities.
• Provide reusable tooling, frameworks, and workflows to enable teams to test safely.
