Central Arizona Project in Arizona is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering Services Department across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems engineering, surveying, project management, land administration and CAD/Drafting support.

You will drive capital improvement program execution, lands administration, AHJ code compliance, and emergency planning for dam and canal systems, while guiding a diverse team and coordinating with external partners.

Qualifikationen

• Ten years of progressive engineering experience.
• Three years supervising professionals and multi-disciplined staff.
• Ability to align department goals with strategic objectives.
• Commitment to staff development and continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Experience managing large operating and capital budgets.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Engineering Services Department and align its mission with CAP's goals.
• Direct the capital improvement program and asset modifications to ensure reliable water deliveries.
• Administer lands, rights of way and land-use agreements with proper record-keeping.
• Serve as AHJ for code compliance and perform plan reviews and interpretations.
• Oversee design and construction of external water infrastructure projects.
• Direct emergency preparedness for dams and urban canals via EAPs.
• Represent CAP with external agencies, consultants, suppliers and contractors.
