Job summary

The Town of Castle Rock Water is seeking a senior engineering leader to supervise the Engineering Division within Castle Rock Water. You will guide capital projects from planning through construction and ensure contracts and regulations are met.

The role requires a Colorado PE (or ability to obtain within six months), at least six years of project management experience, and proven staff leadership. The Town offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Six years of project management for capital projects; two years supervising a team.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado or able to become licensed within six months.
• Advanced knowledge of municipal capital project design, contract management, and construction oversight.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel within the Engineering Division and allocate work.
• Provide strategic leadership to optimize workflows and standards.
• Oversee budgeting for Water, Wastewater and Stormwater funds.
• Oversee capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
• Present to Town Council, Commissions and the public.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance.
