Job summary

The Town of Castle Rock is seeking a dynamic Engineering Division leader to supervise and mentor engineering staff, oversee capital improvement projects, and manage multiple funds for water, wastewater, and stormwater initiatives. You will coordinate with Town leadership, developers, and outside agencies to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and community needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• Six years of project management experience on capital projects from engineering through construction.
• Experience supervising a team of technical professionals.
• Strong knowledge of design, construction, and contract management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel within the Engineering Division and plans work.
• Provides strategic leadership for engineering initiatives and staff development.
• Oversees budgets within Water, Wastewater and Stormwater funds.
• Manages capital improvement projects to on-time, on-budget completion.
• Delivers public presentations to Town Council and other stakeholders.
