Job summary

Holman seeks an Engineering Manager in Rancho Cordova, CA to lead and grow the engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams. You will manage budgets and ensure department goals are met while upholding the Holman Experience for customers and partners.

You will drive product development across engineering, sales, marketing and manufacturing, oversee risk analysis, and foster continuous improvement and succession planning for sustainable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of management experience leading a team.
• 5 years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations roles.
• Demonstrated prior success as a leader of technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage staff in day-to-day performance.
• Ensure department goals are met and budgets adhered.
• Extensive knowledge of department processes.
• Adapt departmental plans to address business and operational challenges.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational problems.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Identify and prioritize new product opportunities including competitive analysis and estimates.
• Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed requirements and development programs.
• Drive the product development process with engineering, sales, marketing and manufacturing.
• Monitor product performance after sale to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Develop team members and succession plans.
