Job summary

Grifols, S.A. in Clayton, NC seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the East Coast Applied Process group within the capital projects engineering department.

You will design, procure and implement process equipment to meet site requirements for Clayton, Montreal and Los Angeles. Responsibilities include strategic planning for equipment, budgeting, vendor selection, FAT, TOPs and commissioning, plus managing a fabrication shop and cross-functional teams across borders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 15+ years engineering leadership experience preferred.
• Biotech or Chemical industry experience preferred.
• Experience with plasma or protein processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plan for purchasing and fabricating process equipment for US/Canada.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, FAT, and commissioning plans.
• Manage fabrication shop resources including welders and skid designers.
• Ensure safety, OSHA, regulatory and environmental compliance for projects.
• Prepare schedules and track progress using Jira and MS Project.
• Lead cross-functional and international teams; recruit and develop staff.
