The role focuses on delivering high-quality designs, mentoring the engineering team, and aligning engineering output with project pipelines and company growth toward a $100M revenue goal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 15+ years of structural engineering experience, with precast or related manufacturing.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role building engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in precast concrete design, production, and codes (ACI, PCI, ASCE).
• Experience with multi-site operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company-wide technical authority for complex engineering decisions.
• Define and drive the engineering technical roadmap to support growth.
• Lead and develop the engineering team across locations.
• Oversee design calculations, rebar drawings, and PE-stamped submittals.
• Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, and Sales to align capacity with pipeline.
• Drive process improvements to reduce design cycle times and rework.
• Develop engineering standards, templates, and best practices.
