Job summary

DTN seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Platform team responsible for the DTN Operational Decisioning Platform (ODP). As a hands-on leader, you will shape architecture, drive secure, scalable cloud foundations on AWS, and mentor engineers across levels.

You will champion AI-assisted software development practices and partner with Architecture, Product, and Solutions teams to deliver reusable platform capabilities and developer experiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership roles.
• Experience shipping production software and leading engineers.
• Ability to hire, coach, and develop engineers across multiple experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a platform engineering team across experience levels, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and delivery.
• Own the platform's architectural direction and implement foundational distributed cloud systems on AWS.
• Develop APIs, SDKs, CLIs, tooling, and managed services to enable other teams to build on the platform.
• Ensure security, isolation, reliability, and observability as core platform contracts.
• Guide cross-account communication, multi-tenant isolation, provisioning, and lifecycle automation.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Product, and Solutions/Field Engineering to align platform capabilities with business needs.
