Job summary

JVIS is seeking an Engineering Manager at the TWID Tiffin Plant to lead engineering activities across injection and blow molding, assembly, and tooling. You will implement Lean processes, manage projects, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer specs and target costs.

The role requires at least 5 years in a similar position, automotive plastics experience, and a proven track record with APQP/PPAP and ISO/TS16949 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; automotive plastics experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar engineering/leadership role.
• Experience with automotive quality systems and product launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for injection and blow molding, drilling, heat staking, welding and assembly to optimize productivity and quality.
• Develop and administer the Engineering Process; establish process controls and Lean initiatives.
• Participate in cell and plant layout improvements and capital planning.
• Ensure ISO/TS 16949 compliance and support PPAP/APQP requirements.
• Provide staff development, staffing plans, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and customers to meet target costs and schedules.
