Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group in Houston, TX seeks an Engineering Manager for its plastic injection molding operation. This 100% onsite leadership role will guide a small engineering team, oversee NPI, tooling, and manufacturing processes, and collaborate with Sales, Tooling, Automation, and customers to drive engineering projects.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in plastics manufacturing, deep knowledge of injection molding, tooling design, DFMA, and a proven ability to mentor engineers and deliver

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Experience with injection mold tooling, mold design, and DFMA.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, CAD files, and 3D models.
• Experience leading engineers within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing engineering projects and NPI/product launches.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 engineers.
• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept to production launch.
• Drive multiple engineering projects, set priorities, resolve issues, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Sales, Tooling, Automation, and customers.
• Provide guidance on molding processes, tooling, materials, automation, and DFM.
• Review drawings, CAD files, and 3D models to support development.
• Support technical quoting and manufacturing feasibility.
• Coordinate activities with tooling and suppliers.
• Develop and implement standardized engineering processes.
