Job summary

zerohash is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the team building our open banking data aggregation platform. You will guide the architecture and delivery of secure browser automation and data extraction systems, partnering with product and operations to align on the roadmap.

Ideal candidates have a track record of managing senior engineers, deep expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, and backend experience with Golang/Node/Python.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, focused on advanced web automation, browser internals, extension development, or data extraction.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience, including senior/staff engineers.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and design new methods for secure web automation.
• Lead a team building the core automation runtime and architecture for resilient UI interactions and session routing.
• Partner with product and program managers to align the open banking roadmap and plan outcomes.
• Ensure requirements like secure network interception, MFA/passkeys, and multi-hop sessions are captured in the solution.
• Drive the technical roadmap with other Engineering Managers and promote architectural patterns for scale.
• Support engineers to achieve excellence in browser automation, extension development, and data extraction.
• Recruit, coach, and develop engineers specializing in web automation and distributed systems.
