Job summary

Headway is seeking an Engineering Manager for Network Value to lead a growing team delivering data-driven insights that improve insurer pricing and care outcomes. You will shape how we measure value, align stakeholders, and drive externally-committed launches with tangible impact on patient access and provider sustainability.

You will mentor a pod of engineers, partner with Product, Clinical, and Data teams, and own the roadmap for provider segmentation and efficiency ranking, ensuring the model

Qualifications

• 3+ years engineering management experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience with credible technical direction.
• Strong track record leading high-performing teams delivering business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow the Network Value engineering team.
• Own delivery on externally-committed launches and metrics, including guardrails.
• Set the technical and operational roadmap across segmentation, provider efficiency ranking, and subnetworks.
• Develop your team through weekly 1:1s, mentorship, and a tech-lead layer beneath you.
• Partner with Product, Clinical, Data Science, and Commercial to iterate quickly and rigorously.
• Contribute to broader company strategy beyond your own roadmap.
