Job summary

Headway is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Growth Pod, shaping the future of patient discovery and access to mental healthcare. You will partner with Product, Marketing, Design, Data, and RevOps to design scalable growth systems, enable rapid experimentation, and drive end-to-end experiences from first touch to appointment.

You will grow the team from 120 to 175+ this year, mentor engineers, and align on strategy and roadmap while integrating AI/ML to accelerate engineering work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager leading high-performing teams.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong product mindset with cross-functional relationship building.
• Experience applying AI/ML to growth contexts and personalization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an engineering team focused on growth initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to enable rapid experimentation and long-term scale.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, Data to iterate through A/B tests.
• Drive alignment on process, prioritization and product outcomes.
• Develop and mentor engineers and grow leadership within the team.
