Plaid seeks an Engineering Manager for Network Health to lead a deeply technical team focused on risk engineering. You will set long-term strategy, translate fraud scenarios into priorities, and drive execution with a high technical bar.

You will work closely with data scientists and ML engineers to uncover trends and opportunities. You will manage and grow a team of engineers and data scientists, shaping the Network Health roadmap in partnership with Plaid leaders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience in risk engineering, fraud detection, abuse prevention, trust and safety.
• 8+ years of industry experience including time as a Staff-level engineer before transitioning into management.
• Track record of building and growing high performing engineering teams.
• Track record of setting strategy and executing against roadmaps in ambiguous environments while navigating tradeoffs.

• Lead a growing, deeply technical team responsible for risk engineering at Plaid.
• Set the long-term strategy and roadmap, translating evolving fraud scenarios and business requirements into technical priorities.
• Drive execution with a high technical bar and deliver high-quality results.
• Partner with embedded data scientists and ML engineers; work hands-on with data to guide decisions.
