Job summary

FabLogix in Duncan, SC, seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead modular fabrication engineering efforts. You will guide a multi-discipline team—mechanical, electrical, pipe stress, structural, and controls—toward fabrication-ready designs while collaborating with client engineers to resolve issues and maintain aggressive schedules.

The role requires a PE license (preferred), 8+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, and Caesar II.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, Structural, or related Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of engineering experience across multi-discipline projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, and Caesar II.
• Familiarity with ASME piping codes, AISC, NEC/instrumentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and final sign-off across modular fabrication projects.
• Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, pipe stress, structural, and controls teams.
• Guide design development from preliminary to fabrication-ready stages.
• Collaborate with clients to clarify design intent and manage design changes.
• Ensure code compliance, risk management, and timely delivery to shop.
• Support estimation with technical input on scope and hours.
