Job summary

Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Microwave Systems & MRO Value Stream in San Diego.

The role requires strong system engineering skills, with extensive experience in microwave radar and satcom systems, and hands-on leadership across cross-functional teams. You will guide design, manufacturing, and process engineers, drive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to meet program goals and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Systems Engineering.
• 7+ years of design/manufacturing experience.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing and Process Engineers within the Microwave Systems & MRO Value Stream.
• Define and deliver customer requirements and project scope; manage changes with contractual impact.
• Provide technical interface and escalation between customers and internal teams; ensure on-time delivery within the IPT structure.
