Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for Merchant Service Applications within its Information Technology - Site Reliability Center (SRC), with base at one of PNC's IT hubs across the United States. You will lead multiple merchant services teams, align priorities with stakeholders, and implement Site Reliability Engineering best practices.

The role requires a strong Java background and experience with APIs, databases, Linux/OpenShift, and middleware; banking/financial sector exposure is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years in software/IT with leadership experience.
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering and Java preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage development projects and application support functions.
• Oversee multiple projects and maintenance of application programs.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
• Foster staff growth and teamwork to meet business needs.
