Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for Merchandising Technology to lead a team delivering the Inventory 360 solution. You will guide discovery, design, build, deployment, and ongoing support of a mix of custom software and SaaS solutions, in collaboration with product management and architecture teams.

You’ll mentor engineers, drive agile processes, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable systems supporting inventory planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent level preferred.
• 6 to 10+ years experience in relevant roles.
• 1 to 3 years experience supervising and directing people.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and coaching for software engineers.
• Set clear goals and objectives aligned with the i360 initiative.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of technology solutions from discovery to support.
• Collaborate with product managers, activation squads, and architects to define roadmaps.
• Champion agile methodologies and best practices for iterative development.
