Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Engineering Manager focused on Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection to build and lead our building engineering practice in Boston. You will shape strategy, grow a high-performing team, and deliver high-impact projects for major clients, including transportation authorities and federal agencies.

You will drive cross-disciplinary collaboration, ensure design quality, and mentor engineers while expanding local capabilities and pursuing major pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license in Mechanical Engineering or ability to obtain licensure in additional states.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow AECOM's building engineering practice in Boston.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand local MEP capabilities.
• Drive major project pursuits and manage interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical leadership and quality review across project sizes.
• Coach, mentor and develop engineers at all career stages.
• Manage forecasting, resource planning, and performance reviews for the mechanical department.
