Job summary

ASC Process Systems, Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team through design to production of autoclaves, ovens and custom equipment, including our expansion into the nuclear industry.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong technical leadership, exceptional communication, and ability to travel occasionally; a competitive compensation package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of five years of experience in equipment manufacturing.
• Leadership experience with ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team.
• Strong mechanical design aptitude and experience as a design engineer.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites, including internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design, drawings, calculations for autoclave, oven and other equipment design.
• Develop oven design and calculations for projects and sales.
• Oversee engineering software packages and project management planning.
• Own the Mechanical Engineering Process (MEP) and related standards.
