This individual-contributor role will guide mechanical and controls design, from concept through release, while championing lifecycle improvements and cost reduction. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in steam systems, high-temperature/high-pressure vessels, and ASME calculations, and will mentor peers while aligning with cross-functional teams and customer

Qualifications

• 8+ years in machine or product design
• Experience with steam components or high-temp/high-pressure vessels
• Strong background in design reviews and standards
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and calculation packages

Responsibilities

• Be the senior technical voice for autoclave design
• Own deep technical knowledge across mechanical and controls
• Lead development from concept to release with prototyping and validation
• Maintain ASME VIII calculations and review peers' work
• Mentor engineers and lead design reviews
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and customers
