Referment is partnering with a leading investment firm to appoint an Engineering Manager who will own Linux platform security across a sophisticated technology environment in New York. You will lead a highly technical team, set the security roadmap and stay close to engineering to translate security ideas into production controls.

Responsibilities include designing and deploying security improvements, strengthening authentication and privileged workflows, and developing metrics to move security

Formación

• Strong background securing complex Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with Linux security modules (SELinux/AppArmor).
• Deep knowledge of authentication, certificates, cryptographic primitives and network protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the engineering team responsible for Linux platform security.
• Set the technical roadmap and identify critical vulnerabilities and attack paths.
• Design, implement and deploy security improvements across a large Linux estate.
• Remain hands-on with engineering, prototyping and problem solving.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to strengthen authentication and privileged workflows.
• Develop practical approaches to workload identity and secure inter-service communication.
• Evaluate new Linux security capabilities and guide adoption in production.
