Job summary

LACO Technologies is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and drive growth and operational excellence. The role combines technical leadership with people management to develop engineers and implement efficient workflows across mechanical, controls, software, and vacuum systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, systems engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in industrial equipment or related industries.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong project leadership from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of Mechanical and Controls Engineers.
• Improve engineering workflow efficiency and project execution.
• Set accountability and development plans for staff.
• Oversee customer-specific product design from concept through manufacturing release.
• Provide systems-level leadership across mechanical, electrical, controls, software, vacuum, and leak testing.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales and Leadership.
• Drive best practices, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in customer design reviews and project planning.
