Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client in New Prague, MN is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of three engineers through concept to production. You will oversee project priorities, coordinate across Sales, Engineering, and Production, and drive process improvements while maintaining customer-focused delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, people development, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong focus on program management and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or related industries.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with CAD and engineering documentation (not primary design role).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineering drafters.
• Manage engineering projects and priorities from concept through production.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Production to stay on schedule.
• Improve engineering processes, workflows, and project management systems.
• Serve as a customer-facing engineering resource for project discussions.
• Monitor timelines, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, customer-focused team.
