Job summary

Responsibilities include directing lab and engineering activities, interviewing and hiring staff, planning projects and forecasting budgets while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree; 5+ years related experience or training.
• Mathematical skills: basic to advanced math concepts for analysis and forecasting.
• Computer skills: proficiency with multiple software systems including CRM/ERP and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates engineering department activities to design, manufacture, and test components, products, and systems.
• Supervises employees in Engineering & Lab, including interviewing, hiring, and training.
• Utilizes ERP system to streamline engineering functions and manage budgets.
• Confer with management, production, and marketing to determine feasibility, cost, and customer demand for products.
• Forecasts operating costs and directs preparation of budget requests.
• Maintain knowledge of safety policies and ensure compliance.
