Wealthfront is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and drive execution and quality across our products. You will coach, mentor, hire, and develop engineers, while partnering with product management, design, and operations to deliver high-impact projects.

As a hands-on leader, you will foster an ownership mindset, promote automation, and advance the engineering organization through principled decision-making and strong people leadership.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years as a software engineer developing and operating systems.
• 1+ years engineering management experience.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, coaching and developing engineers.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of 6-10 engineers in execution and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with tech leads and functions to respond to priorities.
• Monitor and improve team productivity and remove roadblocks as scrum master.
• Facilitate information exchange among Wealthfront employees.
• Lead or contribute to organizational improvements within the engineering org.
• Combine data-driven process with people empathy to grow teams.
• Evaluate engineers to match strengths with projects.
• Partner with Recruiting to build well-rounded, inclusive teams.
