Job summary

• Knowledge of principles and practices of Engineering with emphasis on long range planning and capital improvement programs.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and train team members effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with grant administration and budget planning.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the activities and staff involved in the daily administration of CIP, Land Development and Traffic engineering teams.
• Reviews and signs construction plans, specifications, and work orders; coordinates traffic devices with the traffic team.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and performance evaluation; prepares budgets and monitors expenditures.
• Develops and manages division budgets; identifies grant opportunities and manages grant projects.
