Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, planning, environmental studies, or related field.
• 5+ years of applicant-side permitting or regulatory coordination.
• Experience supporting construction, land development, or water infrastructure projects.
• Ability to obtain permits on behalf of an applicant or project owner.
• Familiarity with planning commissions, CEQA, and environmental reviews.
• Proficiency with permitting portals and plan-review tools.

Responsibilities

• Research requirements and determine jurisdiction for permits and approvals.
• Prepare and submit permit applications with plans and documentation.
• Track applications, reviews, and final issuance across agencies.
• Coordinate revisions with engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Represent the project owner with cities, counties, utilities, and regulators.
• Maintain permit logs, correspondence, and deadlines.
