Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking an Engineering Manager in Integrated Major Project Development to lead a team of engineers delivering interconnection projects at voltages greater than 50 kV. You will coordinate across engineering, planning, project management, grid contracts, environmental, land, and construction to ensure clear scope, cost and schedule inputs, and timely handoffs to execution.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of combined engineering experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in operations, production, construction, or maintenance environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and project management capability.

Responsibilities

• Leads a select set of engineering and business initiatives to develop grid strategies and manage interconnections.
• Develops and maintains a project portfolio management system to prioritize projects and allocate resources.
• Evaluates new technologies to improve project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with external partners, vendors, and contractors.
• Coaches engineering teams on professional development and delivery milestones.
• Oversees design and implementation of equipment modifications to improve safety and reliability.
