Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Infrastructure team to guide a global group of engineers building a scalable cloud platform. You will lead delivery, reviews, and architectural decisions while partnering with leadership on roadmaps.

The role requires hands-on Golang expertise, TypeScript/JavaScript skills, cloud experience (AWS), and a passion for AI-enabled workflow improvements. Remote-friendly, with strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management leading software engineering teams.
• Extensive hands-on Golang with ability to guide others.
• Strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web tech.
• Experience with gRPC and RESTful API development.
• Understanding of Linux, cloud-native infrastructure, and CI/CD.
• Experience operating within cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

About the Role:

CrowdStrike is hiring an Engineering Manager for the Infrastructure team to lead and grow our global team of engineers focused on developing tools to deploy, observe, and maintain a first-class, highly available cloud platform at massive scale. This is a technical leadership role where candidates with strong engineering backgrounds in Golang and proven people management experience will excel.

What You'll Do:

• Managing and mentoring a team of 3-6 full stack engineers
• Providing technical guidance and code review oversight
• Collaborating with senior leadership to execute on roadmaps and priorities
• Ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions on schedule
• Supporting team culture and individual professional development
• Participating in hiring and onboarding new team members
• Contributing to technical decisions and architectural discussions

What You'll Need:

• US Citizenship or Green card Holder
• 3+ years of people management experience leading software engineering teams
• Extensive hands‑on experience in Golang with ability to provide technical guidance
• Strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web technologies
• Experience with gRPC and RESTful API development
• Experience with modern SPA frameworks and development practices
• Understanding of Linux environments and cloud‑native infrastructure
• Experience operating within cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices
• Experience with team leadership, mentoring, and basic hiring processes
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision‑making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
