Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Manager Level 2 SWDT for front-line managers in the MSS/EWS product line at Rolling Meadows, IL. The selected candidate reports to the MSS/EWS Department Manager and oversees software development teams to deliver on program commitments.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in STEM with 8+ years of software engineering experience or MS with 6+ years.
• Experience and depth of understanding in software engineering principles and lifecycle, including Agile for embedded software.
• Experience leading small-to-medium technical teams delivering engineering artifacts and operational software.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical, cost, and scheduling performance in support of division contracts.
• Staff projections and staffing plan execution in accordance with projections.
• Communicate with direct employees to increase inclusion, mentorship, and performance.
• Recruit talent for entry-, mid-, and senior-level positions.
• Review organizational metrics with program and organizational leadership.
