Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS, Engineering, Statistics, or related field with 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and Java.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Strong debugging and production monitoring skills.
• Experience designing technology stacks and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for implementing, testing and maintaining distributed database systems.
• Oversee design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software systems with high quality standards.
• Set technical direction and drive architectural decisions and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Plan and manage timelines, resources, and risks to ensure timely delivery of complex initiatives.
• Manage software engineers through recruiting, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
• May telecommute and supervise at least one Software Engineer/15-1252.
