Job summary

Cindavi in the United States is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a newly integrated team of software and electrical engineers at our Fitchburg campus, focusing on automation for medical isotope production facilities.

You will oversee the design, development, testing of control systems (DCS, PAC/PLC, DAQ), mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with preference for Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 7–10+ years of engineering experience with progression into management.
• Strong technical competence in electrical engineering, power distribution, instrumentation and controls; basic software like PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and lead a team of I&C and electrical engineers focused on control systems and power supply design.
• Mentor engineers in technology, decision making, and ownership of I&C equipment.
• Lead the integration of software and electrical teams to produce unified outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional managers at other sites to establish common standards and platforms for controls.
• Oversee development of digital and analog control systems (DCS, PAC/PLC, DAQ).
• Participate in design reviews and releases; prioritize troubleshooting; ensure documentation and support for installation and commissioning.
