Cindavi in Fitchburg seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Instruments and Controls and Electrical engineering team, shaping design, development and testing of control systems for our fusion-related facilities. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Electrical/Computer preferred.
7–10+ years in engineering with management experience.
Strong power distribution and instrumentation/controls knowledge; PLC familiarity.
Experience in automation within medical devices, radiopharma, or nuclear industries preferred.
Experience with PLC programming and embedded C highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Hire, develop, and lead a team of I&C and electrical engineers focused on control systems and power supply design.
Mentor engineers in technology decisions and ownership of I&C equipment.
Lead integration of software and electrical teams to deliver unified outputs.
Establish common technology standards and platforms for controls with cross-site collaboration.
Oversee development of digital/analog control systems including DCS, PAC/PLC, and DAQ.
Participate in design reviews, releases, and prioritize troubleshooting efforts.
Ensure documentation is released properly and assist build/test teams for installation and commissioning.
