Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an engineering manager to lead a team delivering workstation graphics and system software across graphics, APIs, and operating systems. You will blend technical leadership with people management to enable new GPU architectures, core driver development, and performance improvements.

You will mentor engineers, guide driver feature development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust graphics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in software engineering management delivering complex system software.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and OS fundamentals.
• Background in graphics drivers or GPU system software and experience with Vulkan, OpenGL, DirectX, or Metal.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and ability to guide debugging and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team responsible for graphics driver development on new GPU architectures, mentoring and career development.
• Guide design, implementation, optimization and validation of driver features from hardware bring-up to production release.
• Partner with architecture, hardware, compiler, platform software, and QA teams to define requirements and deliver graphics capabilities.
• Drive investigation and resolution of complex correctness, performance, and stability issues across the graphics software and hardware stack.
• Set technical priorities and execution plans balancing enablement, feature development, performance, and maintainability.
• Advance engineering practices through automated validation and AI-assisted development, guiding engineers in delegating work and reviewing output for quality.
