Price Engineering, a SunSource company, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Hydraulic, Automation, and Electrical engineering teams focused on fluid power systems. You will coordinate customer quotations, oversee design/build processes, and collaborate with Outside Sales for applications and quotes.

The role covers documentation, testing, and process improvements across standard and custom systems, with staffing and development of the engineering department as a priority.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering with 5+ years in engineering management.
• Knowledge of Fluid Power and Automation/Electrical systems.
• Familiar with ISO procedures and Lean manufacturing.
• Proficient in CAD software and MS Office suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Receive, review, and assign RFQs with the engineering team for fluid power design.
• Develop and improve general department processes and workflows.
• Schedule engineers for quoting and design work on fluid power systems.
• Clarify specifications from clients and sales to define pre-sale needs.
• Support FMEA/PPAP activities for select projects and platforms.
• Develop procedures for system run-offs and testing.
• Assist with project timelines to meet client objectives.
• Meet with customers and sales to review RFQ requirements for larger projects.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
