Price Engineering, a SunSource company, is seeking an Engineering Leader to direct hydraulic system design and integration across projects in collaboration with sales and manufacturing. The role focuses on mentoring engineers, standardizing processes, and driving cost efficiency.

The position emphasizes leading a team, coordinating with customers, and advancing design best practices to deliver reliable industrial solutions.

Responsabilités

• Work with hydraulic system designers on developing and approving circuit and system design for projects.
• Coordinate integration of hydraulic and electric systems in projects.
• Develop and mentor engineering team members.
• Support engineering team staff to connect with key customers/opportunities.
• Help build the engineering team through Wig #2 efforts.
• Lead continuous improvement activities in the engineering team.
• Manage team allocation and reporting of time for project design and support.
• Assist in cost estimating for hydraulic systems and define final statement of work processes.
• Collaborate with sales to identify system requirements and SOW for new industrial projects.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to develop standard labor costs for assembly.
• Identify standard suppliers, components, and costs with purchasing.
• Lead efforts for continuous improvements to standard power system product designs.
• Drive engineering standards – prints, datasheets, and statements of work.
• Support engineering tools usage and documentation conventions.

Responsibilities

1. Engineering Leadership

   1. Work with the hydraulic system designers on developing and approving circuit and system design for projects.
   2. Work with the hydraulic systems team on integration of hydraulic and electric systems.
   3. Develop and mentor engineering team members.
   4. Support Wig #1 call activity to connect engineering team members to key customers/opportunities.
   5. Support Wig #2 effort to help build the engineering team.
   6. Help lead key performance improvement activities in the engineering team.
   7. Work with the hydraulic system designers on their weekly priorities.
   8. Manage entire team allocation and reporting of time for project design and support.
   9. Work with entire team on hydraulic system cost estimating and final statement of work processes.
   10. Work with sales team to adequately identify system requirements and statement of work for new Industrial system projects.
   11. Work closely with Manufacturing to develop standard labor costs for assembly activities.
   12. Work closely with purchasing to identify standard suppliers, components, and costs.
   13. Lead efforts for continuous improvements to the designs of standard power system products.

Work with other engineering groups within the organization to help drive the following:

1. 1. Drive engineering standards – prints, datasheets, and statement of work.
   2. Engineering tools – Hydraw, MDtools, PDM…etc
   3. Documentation / File Storage Locations
   4. Document naming conventions
