Job summary

Addepar is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Advisor Experience team, focusing on a Secure Message Center embedded in the client portal. You will lead a growing group of engineers, shape technical direction, and collaborate with product and design to translate ambitious product visions into shipped software.

You will guide architecture decisions, drive delivery with sustainable engineering practices, and recruit top talent while ensuring integration with Addepar's data and reporting

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years in people management or team leadership.
• Strong full-stack background across backend and frontend.
• Experience with fintech, wealth management, or financial advisor workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers with a culture of accountability and quality.
• Partner with product management and design to define roadmaps and priorities for the advisor-client experience.
• Own the team's technical direction, architecture, and code-review feedback to maintain high standards.
• Drive execution with defined goals, recruit engineers as the team grows, and collaborate across engineering teams to integrate with the broader Addepar platform.
• Champion operational excellence including testing, deployment, incident response and managing technical debt.
