Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager in Wilmington, MA to lead a Product Engineering team responsible for Electric and Fluid Systems from concept through production and sustainment. The role balances hands-on technical oversight with strategic team leadership across multiple programs and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS degree in Mechanical or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams in a product development environment.
• 5+ years design development electromechanical sensing fluid/electrical systems.
• Proven ownership of products from concept thru production and sustainment.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Product Engineering organization to align with strategic objectives and growth priorities.
• Provide end to end engineering leadership across the product lifecycle, including New Product Development, advanced development, and sustaining engineering.
• Drive design development continuous improvement of electromechanical sensing products, focused on innovation and competitiveness.
• Ensure disciplined processes are followed, including design controls, configuration management, and product reliability practices, compliant with QMS.
• Build and coach the team, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Champion adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enable scalable engineering execution.
• Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions with strong technical engagement and long-term relationships.
• Demonstrate leadership in technical execution and customer-focused delivery.
