Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer is desired.
• Valid IL driver's license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Reviews information from substation readings, SCADA, and personnel to pinpoint problems and improve reliability.
• Develops specifications, evaluates quotes, and recommends equipment purchases (transformers, voltage regulators, SCADA, etc.).
• Consults with engineering and operations to plan alternate feed arrangements and switching operations.
