Job summary

Armada in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of software engineers, delivering AI, cloud, edge, and infrastructure products. You will shape technical strategy, mentor engineers, and partner with product managers to drive roadmaps and quality.

The role requires a strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), security, and cost-aware operations.

Qualifications

US Citizenship required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
Strong technical background in cloud computing and software engineering.
Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and containerization.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
Collaborate with product managers to define requirements, scope, and timelines.
Develop and execute project plans to deliver software on time and within budget.
Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and best engineering practices.
Drive cloud best practices, IaC, automation, CI/CD, and cost optimization.
Ensure security and compliance, protecting data and systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align goals with business objectives.
Recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent while promoting diversity.
