Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 8-12 Forward Deployed Engineers who own high-stakes projects end-to-end. You will hire and develop talent, set technical direction, and create repeatable delivery practices to scale our physical AI solutions across platforms and customers.

This role is highly customer-facing, involves defense/government engagements, and requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure successful outcomes while navigating ambiguity

Qualifications

8+ years of industry experience with at least 2 years in technical leadership
Production-grade software experience; deployed software or hardware to active customers
Experience with defense/government customers or programs is highly valued
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 8-12 Forward Deployed Engineers, owning end-to-end project delivery
Set technical direction across engagements and build repeatable delivery practices
Represent Applied Intuition with defense and government customers
Stay close to the technology, review architectures, and assist when needed
Drive projects to completion while adapting to changing requirements
