About The Role

As an Engineering Manager in CCIP, you will contribute directly to the success of building an open-sourced standard for developers to quickly build secure cross-chain services and applications by providing guidance, servant leadership and growth opportunities for our engineers. CCIP opens up a new category of Web3.0 applications that can be built by developers for a multi-chain ecosystem. We are seeking a passionate Engineering Manager to lead this growing team focusing on Distributed Systems, Performance Optimization and Observability.

Your Impact

As an Engineering Manager in CCIP, you will provide dedicated and empathetic leadership to the team, while setting and owning the roadmap. You will be responsible for independently producing OKRs and collaborating smoothly with cross functional stakeholders. In this role, you will have an impact at an organizational level, so it is important that you are comfortable collaborating with executives across the business.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role

  • Excellent communication and ability to collaborate closely with internal and external partners on a broad range of business topics and drive engineering initiatives.

  • Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management.

  • Deep knowledge in Distributed Systems, Performance, Scalability and Observability.

  • Drive roadmap creation and execution. Measure the impact of your team and set clear expectations and goals.

  • Ability to work on a globally-distributed team with a high degree of ownership cross functionally.

  • Experience in Blockchain/Web3
