Job summary

Snowflake in Bellevue, WA is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for Cost Intelligence to own the technical vision and drive cost visibility, usage analytics, budgeting, and optimization across the platform.

You will lead a team of engineers, partner with product and data science, and shape multi-quarter roadmaps while balancing delivery with platform health. This is a full-time on-site role in Bellevue with a fast-moving, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering management leading scalable, low-latency systems.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, data engineering, or cloud-native backend development.
• Proven ability to define and execute multi-quarter technical roadmaps.
• Experience with cost management, budgeting, billing or FinOps tooling in a cloud environment.
• Experience with anomaly detection, time-series analysis, or ML-driven cost optimization products.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate engineers around a shared vision.
• Track record of hiring, growing, and retaining engineering talent.
• Strong hands-on skills and ability to dive into complex system designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow our talented Cost Intelligence engineering team with ownership and continuous learning.
• Drive the roadmap for Cost Intelligence features, including cost allocation, budgeting, anomaly detection, and optimization recommendations.
• Set technical strategy for backend systems, data pipelines, and APIs at scale.
• Own delivery end-to-end from planning to launch and iteration based on feedback.
• Partner cross-functionally with other engineering and product teams to ensure smooth integrations.
• Represent the team in broader Snowflake engineering discussions and initiatives.
