Job summary

Snowflake is seeking an Engineering Manager to guide the Cloud Efficiency team and own the technical vision for a self-serve platform that makes cloud spend attributable and governable. You will drive cost insights and optimization at scale, partnering with Product, Finance, and Data Science.

You will lead engineers, define multi-quarter roadmaps, and deliver backend and data pipelines for large-scale spending analytics. Strong leadership and distributed systems experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in management.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, data engineering, or cloud backend.
• Experience with cloud cost management or FinOps tooling.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Cloud Efficiency engineering team.
• Translate spend objectives into engineering systems, pipelines, and data models.
• Set technical strategy for backend systems and data pipelines at scale.
• Own end-to-end delivery from planning to iteration.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Data Science.
• Represent the team in Snowflake-wide initiatives and best practices.
