Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for Productivity Solutions in Irving, TX. You will lead a Dallas-based engineering organization delivering machine, mobile, edge, cloud, data, and AI assistant capabilities.
Focus on secure, scalable solutions that improve operator proficiency, safety, and productivity. You will guide cross-functional teams across platforms, drive strategic roadmaps, and ensure lifecycle execution with global partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- 5+ years leading technical teams and building organizational capability.
- Proven success scaling software, systems, platform, or connected-product teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high performing team of Architects, Systems and Software Engineers.
- Own strategic and tactical product strategy including architecture and roadmaps.
- Lead integration across on-machine, mobile, cloud and edge services.
- Personalize workflows using operator insights to improve safety and productivity.
- Model Caterpillar’s strategy behaviors: customer-back mindset, urgency, openness, and early wins.
